For this reason reason some children grow up feeling weak, vulnerable and anxious. This becomes their attitude in life and an attitude is nothing more than a habit of thought. These childhood habits are still habits when these children grow up. These habits of thought are then unconsciously passed on to their children.
It would be a wonderful thing if we could be shown these harmful habits of thought as soon as we are mature enough to deal with them and while we are still young enough to make the mental adjustments easily. Sadly this isn't the case yet and so many of my clients arrive at my office feeling anxious and fearful and not knowing why or how to fix it.
